ITHome began as an interest, not as a business plan. Dimitrios Mantzos was building networks as a hobby at a time when few homes in Drama had more than one computer. It became a profession when the first local businesses asked for something to be done properly that until then had been done roughly.
Twenty years on, ITHome designs and implements structured cabling, wireless networks and phone systems. Dimitrios Mantzos is a Cisco certified network engineer — the certification came as confirmation of the experience, not as its starting point.
Based in Drama, Greece, we take on projects of any scale: from a single house to an industrial site, a hotel with dozens of rooms, or a seaside venue where the environment works against every wireless link.
The process is always the same:
- An on-site assessment, before anything is proposed
- A clear quote, with itemised materials and labour
- An installation that is tested before it is handed over
- Documentation of the topology, which stays with you
The last point matters most. Every installation is delivered with line verification, wireless coverage measurements and a record of what goes where. Your infrastructure stays maintainable and extensible — and does not depend on whoever installed it. A large part of our work is repairing installations that were not done this way.
We work with equipment we stand behind: Cisco, MikroTik and Yealink, chosen per project rather than per supplier.
